This is my 3rd attempt at a blog. I started almost two years ago on a different server, a French one, but unfortunately embarrassingly enough, I can't remember the site, meaning that my posts about my early days of motherhood are lost somewhere out there in cyber space.
My 2nd attempt began quite well, on a different server, and I didn't feel terribly happy about the default templates on offer for free blogs.
So here I am on blogger.com, hoping this will stick.

I am a recovering shopaholic--difficult given that my job entails doing research and store visits rather frequently. I am simultaneously hopeful and pessimistic for the future, not just mine, but that of the world at large. and my commentary about the topics below : Films : I love films, actually, but unfortunately have seen maybe 3 in a cinema since the bean was born. Music : Having played piano from age 4 to 22, I always believed I would have music in my life. Now, sadly, due to various circumstances in my life, I have lost touch not just with classical music, but contemporary as well. So, I have made it one of my priorities for this year to get back in tune.
